EA SPORTS FC 27 on PS5 – Online Seasons Squad Changes Not Saving

I purchased EA SPORTS FC 27 digitally from the PlayStation Store and I am experiencing a frustrating issue in Online Seasons.

When I move players from the reserve squad into the substitutes’ bench, my changes are not saved. After I exit the squad management screen and return, the game automatically restores the players I did not want on the bench.

Other players seem to be able to use their reserve players as substitutes during online matches, but I cannot save my own squad changes.

I have already tried the available squad reset and update options, deleted and reinstalled the game, and restored my PlayStation licenses. None of these steps fixed the problem.

I have also seen reports from other players experiencing similar squad and tactics saving issues in FC 27.

I do not want to repeat the same basic troubleshooting steps again. I would like EA to investigate this issue and provide a clear answer on whether it is a known bug and when a permanent fix will be released.

I paid for this game, and I expect basic squad management features to work correctly.
