Dear EA Developers,I am writing this out of sheer frustration, and I know for a fact that I am speaking for thousands of loyal offline players who have been ignored for years.I play Player Career Mode because I love the romance of football. I wanted to build a story of absolute loyalty—to become a club legend, a true leader, just like Maldini or Puyol. In my current save, I created a Centre-Back (CB), stayed with the same club for 5 consecutive seasons, and reached a 90 OVR rating at the age of 25. By all logic of football, my player is the absolute leader of the team.Yet, as soon as the AI signed a new player, the captain's armband was instantly given to the newcomer. My 5 years of loyalty, my 90 rating, and my status as a club veteran were completely wiped out by a broken AI script.This bug completely kills the immersion. It breaks the heart of the career mode community. Why is there still no simple "Request Captaincy" option in the manager actions? Why does the game value hidden traits or random AI transfers over a player’s long-term loyalty and performance?Year after year, we buy this game hoping you will finally fix the offline modes. Thousands of players feel this exact same pain and simply close the game, losing any motivation to play it ever again.Please, stop ignoring your offline community. Give us the option to become captains based on our loyalty and merit, or at least give us a manual toggle. We have been waiting for years, but nothing changes. It is incredibly disappointing.
