What have they done to the Manager Mode?

I admit that before the update, matches in Manager Mode felt extremely artificial and unrealistic. In most cases, whoever had the higher OVR would win with something like a 99% probability. Every shot seemed to be a power shot that went straight into the net, and almost every attack that reached the goalkeeper ended in a guaranteed goal. It felt more like a basketball game than a football game.

But after the update, it has gone to the complete opposite extreme.

The matches are still highly unrealistic, just in a different way. Players now take shots from ridiculous distances — sometimes even from the halfway line — while power shots have suddenly become almost nonexistent. Players standing directly in front of the goal sometimes shoot from completely absurd positions or even pass the ball away instead of taking an easy shot.

The passing is often completely illogical as well. Sometimes players make unnecessary passes for no apparent reason, and I've even seen them pass the ball when they are practically standing in front of an empty goal.

It also feels like OVR barely matters anymore. And no matter what tactics you set, they either aren't actually followed by the players or simply have little to no noticeable impact on how the match plays out.

So while the old Manager Mode was definitely too predictable and artificial, the current version doesn't feel any more realistic. It just replaced one type of artificial behavior with another.

Honestly, this version of Manager Mode is simply not fun to play anymore.
