b7r4owv30dzg - it's not being fixated on the cost, it's stating a fact of the game reality that came with TOTY event. It hides behind a facelift of a simple mechanism of converting the gems into RNG-controlled Phase2Token, then to the card of choice (full with 116 and 117, or partial for the OVRs below. The cost of a guaranteed player of choice has been increased to a ridiculous level. As it stands, it's 5.4m gems with bad luck, period - unless you luck out with the 117 card, as some have, you are sent down the "buy more FP path".
The point is, whether you like it or not, the cost of getting the desirable card is the crux of the problems listed, and I am just pointing that out whilst everyone is fixated on drafts being the evil (it doesn't matter what it's called), the cost of obtaining the card of your choice is what people should be looking at.
Some others tried to point out the lack of certainty and choices. Those are still there to a certain extent, you just need to pay a lot more for them, and now it means hard cash, or you can play the slots, which goes back to the "cost or the desirable reward".
To make it fair, the game needs have much better cost-to-reward ratio and the reintroduction of grindable resources, outside of a few extra gems, if you can reach 40 stars. Shards/drafts/vouchers/tokens/thingies, it does not matter, the parameters of cost-to-reward ratio/matrix need serious overhauling. The pittance of 5 tokens (or nothing for 112 and below) is just poor form, driving outrageous costs.
IMO, EA have shown us the way the game is going. More and more stuff behind a pay wall, less and less rewards for actually playing the game. No gameplay updates that the whole community has been crying out for. More and more bugs and taking longer to fix them. Running it on an absolute shoestring to maximise the amount of capital earned from it and to hell with the end user.
I remember the whole "we're listening" propaganda for FC26, gone very quiet on that front in the past 3-4 months and that's one of EA's flagship titles, the players of that game are unsatisfied with the drop rates in packs, SBC costs and gameplay over there. So what hope is there for FC Mobile which will be much further down the list of priorities? Slim to none. And Slim just left town.
EA can't even be bothered to explain how the Champions League event is supposed to work. And that's been out for ages!
