lmaoo is this thread still applicable?
I wanna know how is a 120 OVR Lvl 28 Ronaldo (179 Acc and 198 Spd) losing out in a sprint against 119 Carragher (129 Acc and 150 Spd). Even if sprint speed with a ball will be slightly slower, it doesn't make sense. why the hell is the ultimate challenge team defenders like speed monsters? Even 118 Mbappe (195 Acc and 200 Spd) lost against freaking Carragher. No disrespect to Carragher but there is no way on this earth that he out sprints these 2.
I have to play like a snail just to win 1 ultimate challenge that gives me a bloody 106 OVR player?

Ultimate challenge is the undeniable proof that the game can surreptitiously degrade the players stats and add input or reaction delay or nonresponsiveness to make you concede goals.
So if it can happen in the ult challenge that means it can theoretically happen in any mode vsa h2h mm etc?

Yep. It’s underhanded from EA, and, as you suggest, it DEFINITELY ought to make us all HIGHLY suspicious that they insert this effect (whether randomly, or based on certain conditions like a win steak) into other matches.
Hey, EA, in the off chance that you’re actually paying attention to this feedback… knock it off! Those of us who play the game daily are pretty attuned to this stuff and we can tell when you’re obviously putting your thumb on the scale. Our most basic ask is that our players perform consistently from one match the next and that matches are decided by skill instead of some meddling algorithm. Whether we’re matched up against another user or against the AI, STOP undermining player performance with code that slows movement, delays responsiveness, increases player errors (poor touches, blown skill moves, etc.). I’d rather encounter a world class/difficult opponent with more speed, agility, quickness, etc., than have my players nerfed in order to create difficulty.
