Japan Story of a Nation is a story of disappointment

An event that began with poorly worded questions and some outright errors is ending in flat out disappointment.

Many of us have collected the 600 shards, but EA is trying to strong-arm us into spending $5.00 to convert the rest of our tokens (1,950 for me) into shards. And the top two gallery tiers (OVR 113 & 112) remain out of reach as a result. Are any of the players on offer worth $5? NO!!! And that’s kind of beside the point, because we’ve spent far too much TIME grinding this event to have to jump through a money-grubbing hoop just to cash in our hard-won gains.

This is whole thing is such a naked manipulation. If you’re going to put the top prizes behind a pay wall then it should be clear from the outset so that we don’t have to waste our time grinding in the vane hope of winning something decent. Otherwise, it just comes as a slap in the face and an insult to get to the final days of the event and find you’ve been manipulated.

Suffice it to say, I won’t be bothering to grind the next events in this serious if this is going to be the structure and the quality of prizes.

  • Said from the heart bro on this i won't remove any word thts how i felt on tht event 💯 🤧 like being used for no end

  • I was wondering what to do with the points and/or shards once I got rankups, as I wasn't gonna spend money on cards I don't want, and then I saw this in the Discord feed this morning.

So save them for other cards in the upcoming Nations continuation of the event.
The wording and the incorrect answers have been heavily discussed on the FUTMobile server.
As for the side event itself, most of these are there to drain your resources, so unless there is a card there that you REALLY REALLY want, skip em, like most are.
