Let’s have a quick breakdown of what you’ve said:

1. "It's a paradox mate.. u R asking for realism and still want players to play according to stats."

→ Don’t get my point twisted, mate. I didn’t say I want full realism; all I said was EA shouldn’t exaggerate one player’s stats beyond logical balance. There’s a difference between realism and consistency.

But then, should EA not keep to their promises? When you sell players a product that performs differently from what’s advertised, doesn’t that start looking like a "financial scam scandal"?

2. “If Vanja plays well and his stats are magnified by his height, you complain it's not real world.”

→ Sure, height should help, but EA coded him like a 2-meter octopus with lightning reflexes. The issue isn’t height, it’s the excessive boost, not the concept itself. If he must be this good, then other icon GKs and modern GKs that have higher dives and stats should outperform him far better. It is logic, not fantasy.

3. “You raise about Campos, I used him, played against him and he is not as good as you suggest (atleast compared to real world). ”

→ That’s subjective, but again, my point wasn’t that Campos is better in all scenarios, Oliver Khan who is short, Iker casillas too... Are we going to say they too don't have to be superior? 

My point is that EA ignores basic physics logic: shorter goalkeepers are naturally quicker to reposition, while taller ones have more reach but less agility.

4. “EA in the name of realism makes u loose some if U R on a winning streak where Ur players do so badly or won't respond to controls.. so probably u hit one of those patches.”

→ That’s basically admitting the game uses artificial interference (DDA), the very thing I called out as scripting. 😂

→ Nah, that’s not even my issue. My gripe isn’t with Vanja being cheap; it’s that his performance breaks the balance and devalues every other GK, including icons.

It's a paradox mate.. u R asking for realism and still want players to play according to stats.  Liverpool had a side which on paper looks unbeatable but lost 4 games in a row, that's realism.  Now if you have the same squad in game and it looses like that you would complain it's not working as per stats. 

If Vanja plays well and his stats are magnified by his height, you complain it's not real world.  You raise about Campos,  I used him, played against him and he is not as good as you suggest (atleast compared to real world). Can't catch finesses and won't be able to keep away power shots.  Won't catch the ball fully. I had also played against Vanja and he is good but not as world beater as you suggest him to be.

Simple truth is a game can go only as far as it can to reflect real world.  If you have ever played other games, you should know all games have cheat codes if you would call it and FCM had quite a few - Son, Ginola, Avila, Kuyt, Isak(was good even before he hit purple patch), Dunk and the list is long. 

P.s. I would understand why 443ec user is in sync coz being P2P and spent money on a not so great card, you are angry a 300shard card performs better.

Well said! Couldn’t agree more.

I am very happy to see a lot agree with me that milinkovic-savic vanja is just ridiculously buffed beyond his capabilities. 

I have no problem with people deciding to use milinkovic-savic vanja, but the issue lies in how EA devs claimed "this season, players will play according to their stats" then proceeds to overly buff milinkovic-savic which has been so unfair to a lot of professional players. 

You play a powershot from 20 yards he catches it, play a tap in ball he catches it... Like tell me EA devs, do you people really watch football or you guys are just there to satisfy your fantasies? 

On this same issue of milinkovic-savic vanja buff. In as much we want to complain, we aren't saying he is not a good goal keeper, he is a mid-tier goalkeeper at best. And no way on beautiful Earth will milinkovic-savic vanja be so quick to saves balls. 

Still on that, EA need to work on the physics of the game because it is so out of touch. Tall goalkeepers doesn't mean he is quicker than the average height goalkeeper. The weight of the goalkeeper matters too! I noticed that the weight of the players aren't taken into consideration. 

Look at O. Campos (GK), as short as he is, he was one of the best goalkeepers thanks to his height that makes him quick to position and reflex well. 

End of the discussion, EA really need to nerf him a bit. Goalkeepers like yashin aren't saving balls like milinkovic-savic vanja in-game and that doesn't make any sense.

I totally agree with the original post and it has nothing to do with “whining,” it’s just a simple argument for realism. The actual VSM is nowhere near a Top 5 keeper among his active peers, so for him to be one of the best EVER (according to current FCM) is stupid unrealistic. That’s my number one beef. You don’t have to agree, but it’s a 100% valid argument. My second problem with it is that having lower OVR players outperform higher OVR just makes a mockery of the rating system and the market. I say that as a P2P who is still using a 116 Kahn because I can’t afford a better option, so it’s not a self-interested comment. I simply think the numbers should mean something and you shouldn’t have this glaring anomaly of a player who totally outperforms higher-rated peers.

As it stands VSM is a cheat code, especially in VSA where he makes saves no other keeper makes. I’ve never called for a player to be nerfed, but I fully support it in this case because this guy distorts the competitiveness of any match he’s in.

I don't think you would get either mate as so many people like VMS and his 99ovr card was a favourite of so many countless players. 

I don't get the logic, so if you loose to buffon or cech, are you fine? Coz People would get whoever works for them.  TOTS Buffon was so over powered for a while that everyone used to have him.  Then DDG.  Point is people just want to whine when they loose and it looks more of that to me.  The game mechanics favour tall goal keepers and everyone knows that, I am amazed u have got a 117 squad but didn't get this small thing.
