Poor user experience (vent)

Was redundant in spending real money in game this event as it seemed that EA have been more focused on ripping players off their pockets rather than making the user experiences better. But last week i noticed a good offer that somehow made me spend again on this game.

There was a chain pack that offered reward on spending fcp. I claimed some of it and havent noticed the others as there were options to spend more and get rewards. Now that i look into it, there is no more such reward and i am not sure if i claimed the remaining items or not.

Also if we are on some chain pack reward already, atleast we can get reminders if rewards are unclaimed or if the offer is about to end, if we are midway into it. There are so many things happening around this game that it is impossible to check each and every bit everytime i open this game. Already its expensive, and over that the user experience sucks if things go like this.

I guess its the same old story "spending money on this game is really a dumb thing and people end up still falling for it". Neither the amount spent is equivalent to the reward, nor are they focused on making the experience better, not just for f2p but also for people who spend (p2p).

Since you already know the truth, let’s try to convince others not to spend money either.

In my opinion, spending on this game is no different from throwing money down the drain. There’s no guarantee of getting high OVR players, and even if you do, they’ll perform terribly in certain matches on purpose, just to make sure you lose. And even if everything seems “normal,” those players will become useless garbage in just 2–3 months, forcing you to keep wasting money.

This isn’t really a football game — it’s just a card-pulling casino disguised with a football theme. The only goal is to make money, never to provide entertainment or let players enjoy the actual sport. They’re always focused on releasing new events, but never on improving the gameplay.

That’s why I hope everyone will stop playing (or at least stop spending money on) this insult to football, until they finally fix it.

  • Couldn’t have said it better myself—a casino built for suckers that disgraces the sport we love and disrespects we the fans.

No $$$ for EA until they do right by the beautiful game!

EA Sports is a business. The only reason people go into business is to make money.

People who help a business make money (p2p) are considered an asset. Those who don't help a business make money (f2p) are considered a liability.

EA are not going to cater to those they see as a liability, but to those they concider an asset.

Apparently, they aren't catering for anyone but their own pockets only. Only spending in the game isn't what pays them. It used to be a free game, before this ultimate team bull**bleep** a few years ago. It's just that the money spent by P2P is easy money for them, as they have to do nothing to earn it; rather, they release a new player item and make the old ones irrelevant.

You have a point, but you’re overlooking the fact that the P2P are a tiny minority of users and they’re not enough to make a vibrant community of users. Most notably, nobody can get an instant match to play at any hour of the day unless there are tens of thousands of F2Ps online. So, we’re not a “liability.” Quite the contrary. We create value every time we logon whether we spend money or not.
