    Right, so had a quick update from the dev team. They found what causes the problem and the fix is being worked on.
    However, the ETA is unknown at this stage. 

    Resolving this for visibility only as the fix is being worked on. Stay tuned.

1440666fd7e443ec​ - Can you post your full lineup with the bench? and the typical score range you get when you play.
My first attempt was 0-6 before I killed it, haha. But talking to gameplay folk atm, so need a bit more detail as I can only see your current lineup without subs

This is the lineup I use. I usually quit now as soon as the AI scores a goal because it’s just too **bleep** frustrating. Last week I tried a few times and managed once to get the first goal only for the AI to come back and score pretty much directly off the ensuing kickoff. This week, in my one attempt, I played very methodically and managed multiple really good chances in the opening 25 mins (shots that would have been goals in any other circumstance), but then the AI broke on me, scored and I just exited the match. 

As far as my lineup goes, I know it’s not meta players at every position, but it reflects my having been grinding every single day for 18 months. I regularly place in +10/+20 in FC Champions for H2H. If that’s not a good enough squad (and enough skill) to collect all of the ultimate challenge rewards then I guess it’s time for me to quit.

    Cool, passed it on as there was a question of what lineup and subs you got + average placings in DR.
    My experience is that it's only the 10th game (the final that has AI godlike), however the semi, wasnt easy anymore. Some of the folk I know have beaten it in ~10 tries, but thats a lot of effort for 500 gems. 
    It is definitely harder than the Nightmare game in the chronicles after you claim one of the three Icons. I played the Glorious Era Bayern, and while it was not easy, I won it on the 1st go after pens.
    I'll give the 10th game a few tries, as devs asked to see how many times it will take me to beat it, not really looking forward to it, but if this can lead to meaningful changes, I'll help with that.
