Unrealistic Defender Speeds & Request for Manual Goalkeeper Control
Dear FC Mobile Development Team,
I am writing to share critical feedback regarding two gameplay issues that significantly damage the player experience and defy football logic:
1. Unrealistic Speed Disparity Between Dribbler and Defender
Currently, when two players with identical pace stats compete, a defender running without the ball cannot catch an attacker carrying the ball—even when starting from equal body position or slightly behind. In real football, a player sprinting without the ball moves faster than one dribbling. In-game, however, the attacker’s acceleration consistently outpaces full defensive sprint speed. This mechanic makes defending feel deeply unrewarding and unrealistic.
2. Request for Manual Goalkeeper Positioning and Saving Controls
Since defenders cannot catch up, players must rely on the goalkeeper as the final line of defense. Leaving goalkeeper saves entirely to AI leads to frustrating moments where goalkeepers act like passive statues and concede simple shots. Please consider adding optional manual goalkeeper controls—allowing players to adjust positional movement using the left joystick and trigger manual saves/dives.
If defenders cannot outrun ball-carriers, giving players active control over the goalkeeper is essential to balance 1v1 situations.
If these mechanics are not improved, I will simply be unable to continue playing this game. Every match leaves me completely frustrated. I was originally planning to spend money on purchasing players, but if these issues aren't addressed, I see no point in spending or playing anymore—the game offers no enjoyment, only anger.
Please adjust defensive sprint speeds and refine goalkeeper controls to better reflect realistic football logic.
Best regards,
A Concerned Player
