I’ve been playing this game since FIFA Mobile 17. Back then, the game had a soul. Sure, today the graphics are sharper and the animations smoother, but the heart of the game — the part that made you want to play for hours — has changed. When I watch old clips or hear those classic soundtracks, I’m instantly taken back to evenings spent grinding events, upgrading my David Luiz card from the tutorial, and feeling that every single upgrade truly mattered.
In FIFA Mobile 18, the tutorial gave us Cristiano Ronaldo — and we could develop him from day one. That was special, because you felt a connection to that card, carrying it through the entire season and making it your own. I miss being able to take one player and build them into the cornerstone of my team.
I also miss the thrill of a fresh start. The excitement of earning a special card at the end of the season and starting the new one with it after the reset. The Pre‑Season event wasn’t just content — it was a celebration. It gave meaning to the grind, closure to one chapter, and hope for the next.
But somewhere along the way — after a certain FIFA Mobile season — I stopped feeling that same magic. The excitement faded bit by bit, and the unique atmosphere that made the game special started to slip away.
Progress used to feel tangible — every upgrade was earned, and reaching a high OVR took time and effort. Now, you often get high‑rated cards instantly, which takes away the sense of growth. Events used to feel more varied and surprising; today, many are repetitive and predictable.
The market has also lost its charm. It used to be a place to hunt for bargains, trade smartly, and feel the satisfaction of a good deal. Now, with so many untradeable cards and absurdly high prices, trading barely makes sense. Not being able to sell cards hurts the game’s economy and limits the freedom to build your squad your way.
The reset was a moment when the community came together. Everyone started from zero, shared tips, and discovered the first events of the new season side by side. That “shared beginning” is gone now.
I’ve been waiting for the reset for a long time, and hearing that it won’t happen again is genuinely disappointing. For me — and for many others — the reset wasn’t just a feature, it was the heartbeat of FC Mobile. Without it, the game loses part of its identity and the magic that brought us back year after year.
I hope you’ll listen to the voices of players who have been here for years, who truly care about this game, and who want to see it thrive again. Bring back the reset — bring back the emotions that made every new season feel special.
