Fc mobile beta gameplay issues and solutions

Good day EA developers and teams in general. Trust you all have a great day!

I see a lot of players aren't pointing out the obvious maybe they aren't observing it or are just playing. But trust me, I am here to give you the most honest feedback that would be of great benefit to EA, and its community.

Fast forward to the main:

1. ISSUES WITH THE PASSING SYSTEM

(i) Kickoff Passing

When passing during kickoff, the second player receiving the ball nearly falls or completely falls to the ground. It looks like the kickoff animation makes players unbalanced.

Suggestion:

Players should stay balanced during kickoff passes so the game starts smoothly and realistically.

(ii) Ground Driven Passes

Ground driven passes are mostly inaccurate. Even when the receiving player gets the ball, they often lose control or let it get intercepted too easily.

Suggestion:

Improve accuracy and player control when receiving ground passes, so they feel reliable and realistic.

(iii) Lob Passes

Lob passes are very inactive. It just looks like EA developers put it there for aesthetics.

Suggestion:

Make lob passes more effective and responsive, so they can actually be used to switch play, bypass pressing opponents, and create attacking chances.

(iv) Pass and Go

This is another inactive button that is useless in the game.

Suggestion:

One reason this button feels inactive is because it is too small and not easy to use. Players should be allowed to customize button sizes and placement so controls fit individual comfort. Improving Pass and Go responsiveness would also make it a useful tool for quick attacking runs.

(v) The most important issue:

When passing to a teammate (for example, a striker who is closely marked), the receiving player often just stands still instead of moving towards the ball. This makes short passes unrealistic and easy to intercept. Players should actively come to meet the ball, not wait for it. This change would help create more chances, make attacks flow naturally, and give defenders a fair chance to respond.

(vi) Inside the Penalty Box:

Collisions inside the box happen too often, which makes play feel messy and unrealistic. Passes in this area are also very inaccurate, and players are usually too slow to react to loose balls. Improving responsiveness and reducing unnecessary collisions would make attacking and defending in the box feel more natural and balanced.

(vii) Through Passes:

Right now, through passes are very inaccurate. Even in open situations, the ball often goes to the wrong player instead of the one you intended.

• Lobbed through passes also have problems. When a player controls the ball on the chest, they often look unbalanced and take too long to settle it. This slows the game and feels unrealistic. In real football, chest control is usually quick and smooth.

This issue has reduced the fun and flow of the game. Making through passes more accurate and chest control more natural would greatly improve gameplay.

Suggestion for Curve Through Passes:

It would be great to add curve-style through passes, similar to the ones Kevin De Bruyne is known for. These types of passes create realistic attacking opportunities and would add variety to gameplay. A simple way to include them could be to place the curve through pass on the side button of the regular through pass control.

2. ISSUES WITH SHOOTING

There is a problem where shooting sometimes switches on its own. For example, when I press shoot, the ball can come off like a pass instead. At times, when I hold the shoot button close to yellow or red power, it unexpectedly changes into a pass. This feels like a bug.

• Chip shots are also not functional and feel unrealistic. Often, pressing the fake shot button triggers a chip shot by mistake, which interrupts gameplay. This may be a scripting issue or a bug.

• Power shots have a delay before the ball is released and are often inaccurate. This is not as critical as the chip shot issue, but it still needs attention.

• Finesse shots are generally fine and do not show major problems.

Suggestions for Shooting Variety:

To expand attacking options, I recommend adding a ground-driven shot. This could replace the current chip shot, while chip shots could instead be assigned to a new input, such as a double tap.

In addition, a ground finesse shot would add more creativity and realism, especially in one-on-one situations or inside the penalty box. This would give players greater control and make shooting more dynamic.

3. SKILL MOVES AND SPRINT ISSUES

There are a few problems I have noticed while using skill moves and sprinting in the game.

(i) Skill Moves Balance

Skill moves are not properly balanced. For example, when you perform an Elastico, the ball often goes too far away, making the move look unrealistic and exaggerated. This usually leads to failed dribbles and lost possession. Skill moves should be tighter and more controlled so they look natural and useful.

(ii) Sprinting and Over-Acceleration

When sprinting, players take too long to stop after you release the sprint button. Even when there is no pressure or aggression, they keep running and over-accelerate. This sometimes results in unnecessary throw-ins or corners for the opponent, even when you successfully win the ball. Sprinting responsiveness should be fixed so players can slow down or stop more realistically.

(iii) Star Skill Moves and Customization

Players with 4, 3, or even 2 stars should still feel like they can perform effective skill moves, even if limited compared to 5-star players. I suggest allowing us to customize skill move buttons by star rating, so lower-star players can have unique but realistic options.

For example:

5-star players could have:

Up: Lane change

Left: Roulette

Right: Elastico

Down: Turn and spin

4-star players could have:

Up: Lane change

Left: Roulette

Right: Heel to heel

Down: Lateral heel to heel

This difference would make gameplay more fun and diverse, since not every player would feel the same. It would also reward creativity while keeping star ratings meaningful.

Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback. I believe these changes would greatly improve gameplay and create a more enjoyable experience for the entire community. I will be dropping more feedbacks, for now let's get this fixed.

Be Expecting Feedbacks on DEFENSE...........

And I might attach clips for proof.

    Hi AstralDrifter14

Thank you for taking the time to share so much about your experience with the beta. There is a lot to think about here, and I love that you went into detail. If anything else comes to mind as you play the Beta, feel free to jot them down here too.
