Every single match is a complete joke now because my goalkeeper has become so trash that I keep conceding way too many goals. It is literally impossible to win when the opponent scores with every single shot they take. My keeper cannot save a single thing, and it honestly feels like playing with an empty net. I used to concede maybe one goal, but now it is like four or five goals every match just because the goalkeeper's performance went down horribly. It is ruining the whole game and making it completely unplayable for everyone who spent coins on these cards.

The current state of defense and goalkeeping in FC Mobile is completely broken and unplayable. Goalkeepers fail to execute basic saves and diving animations, making players concede way too many easy goals every match. The mechanical coding is severely ruined; legendary Icon keepers that used to be completely overpowered now perform exactly like basic cards. Furthermore, tall goalkeepers who previously dominated the meta are now performing significantly worse than short keepers. EA has brutally nerfed all low-OVR keepers across the board, intentionally forcing players to purchase expensive high-overall cards just to experience a terrible, restricted playstyle. To make matters worse, the defensive AI is deeply flawed. Defenders constantly push out of position, leaving massive empty spaces behind them, or they simply stand there watching the ball pass by without attempting a block. This frustrating combination of broken goalkeeper animations and useless defender AI completely ruins the competitive aspect of the match.
