Unable to connect

I have been trying to connect to my ea account when playing fifa23 on nitemdo switch. We have been playing the game for a few years but never bothered and just played offline. 
I have googled and uninstalled the game and cleared cache but nothing works and I am getting the following error message ;

„This account can't get online. There are a few reasons why this might be.„

please can anyone help ???
