Referee career mode

Hi everyone,

I’ve been a long-time fan of the EA football series, and for years I’ve had one big dream: a Referee Career Mode.

Imagine starting out as a young, unknown referee in a local league. Based on your performance — your positioning, accuracy of decisions, use of VAR, and fairness — you’d receive match reports and ratings. As your skills and reputation grow, you'd get promoted to higher levels:

National leagues

Conference League

Europa League

Champions League

Eventually even officiating at Euro and World Cup finals.

You could also win awards like “Referee of the Season”, just like players and managers. It would be an entirely fresh and challenging perspective on the game we all love.

Not only would this add depth and variety to Career Mode, but it would also celebrate a crucial (and often overlooked) part of football: the officials.

I truly believe there’s a growing group of fans who would love something new like this. It doesn’t have to be as complex as player careers at first — even a simple version would be a great start.
