“Old gen” to “Next gen” MUT 24… L

That is actually unacceptable for this to be a problem. There is no reason EA and Madden should be taking steps backwards with their products and demanding higher prices.This wasn’t a problem in madden 23 or ever before. They are selling different versions of the game for each console and somehow charging the same price for each version even though they are clearly not the same game if my ultimate team won’t even load on my new POS next gen. This is the tipping point for me. I will never consider giving EA my attention ever again. This is the most pathetic company I have ever dealt with and there has never not been a problem that won’t be solved because nobody at EA even wants you asking for help.

Criminal companies. 

This is like actually so pathetic that a company like EA has these problems with arguably their biggest game ever… after 20 years of doing the literal same * every year. Never seen any company ever make 5 different versions of the exact same game just so they are all only playable on the 5 different types of consoles that are currently out. Like this is actually the most insane * I have ever seen any video game company do and I’m not sure if it’s just a pathetic grab for money or a genuine incompetence from the devs who are clearly not qualified for their job. 

This company is so pathetic now. How is this game worse after 20 years of doing the same thing and only ever having to release the same exact games over and over.

the simple fact that my data doesn’t transfer for my ultimate team from old gen to next gen is the single saddest thing I have seen in technology in my lifetime. Like that is such a simple task to be done and somehow this “next gen” console is unable to do it even though it was possible in last years game madden 23…. Like that is actually so laughable that EA is that bad of a company that they literally don’t have to do anything and they mess that up. 

the difficulty of this task for a programmer is about equal to the difficulty of turning on a light switch… you literally just have to try EA. This is so pathetic and more than enough reason to never waste my time or money on anything EA ever again. I’ve had nothing but problems with every game that I’ve had in the last few years, almost as if they got rid of all the good developers and chose a cheaper and easier alternative that is a literal monkey with a wrench.

Fix the problem where I just spent half the year on my ultimate team just to “upgrade” to the “next gen” console and not have any bit of that ultimate team transfer over. Like this is something children are able to program but EA of all companies is unable to lol. This is sad. Never giving EA a second of my attention or money after this BS. The lack of respect you have for your customers is loud and clear. No reason these games should be taking steps backwards. Madden 23 offered more than madden 24…. This is just blatant disrespect to your consumers. It’s clear that this was going to be an issue and they just went ahead and made it an issue to the maximum. EA knew that people would be transitioning from old gen to new gen consoles and this is how they prepared for it: by making 5 different versions of the game that will never be able to transfer to one another because EA has incompetent liberals getting paid $1 an hour to eat hay and carrots instead of actually develop real products that would compare to madden 08.

Didn’t they know that people would be transitioning from old gen to new gen consoles while playing this game? Just like last years game…?

wouldn’t they know that people would want their data to be saved and transferred from the old gen console to the new gen? Just like last year…? 

like…. What are we actually doing EA???

Clearly people will be wanting to do this but EA has the absolute worst idea ever to go ahead and make 5 different versions of this game that only ever save on the one console you are playing at that time… 

like they removed what Madden 23 (and every other game that has ever existed), did correctly in this situation, and did the absolute worst thing they can possibly do to this game and make it 5 different versions of Madden 24 just so nobody’s progress can be saved and transferred from gen to gen… 

This was clearly done deliberately because it was perfectly fine in madden 23… I mean the incompetence of this company is just outrageous. There’s no reason anyone should keep their job if they worked on Madden 24. And there’s no reason anyone should have to pay real money for this game, everyone should be given at least a refund. 

It should not be an issue to transfer my ultimate team to my new console. Like that just shouldn’t be a problem that people face when they are buying and supposedly “upgrading” to a supposedly “next-gen” console. That shouldn’t be a game problem. That shouldn’t be a console problem. That shouldn’t be a development problem. That shouldn’t be a problem. 

how on earth is this a problem EA? How have you not faced this situation before. How have you not better prepared for this situation. How have you not solved this situation. I should only have to sign in to access my ultimate team. It is a VIDEO GAME. Put the video game characters that I spent half the year getting, on my video game. 

I do not care about your dual entitlement make believe nonsense. 

I paid REAL LIFE MONEY on this video game. 

I played this video game to unlock a lot of stuff.

I bought a new Xbox that was supposed to be “next gen” and new and offer something different.

I sign in to COD, all of my guns and progress is still there even though it’s from my old gen Xbox progress.

I sign in to Madden and have to restart the game completely, even after I sign in to my EA account, there is nothing saved at all…

WHERE IS MY PROGRESS???

I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SIGN IN TO MY EA ACCOUNT AND HAVE ALL OF MY PROGRESS THERE (INCLUDING ULTIMATE TEAM) ON ANY CONSOLE THAT I WANT, WHENEVER I WANT. 

HOW IS THIS ACTUALLY AN ISSUE !?
