Unable to use 50% for Madden 24, only see 10%

When I click on the 50% discount on the Home Screen and go to the other version they only show the 10% discounted version

    Hey everyone, 

    Marking as a solution just for visibility. We are currently investigating these reports. 


    I merged together a few threads to this one since they were all about the same issue. 

    We're currently looking into the reports about the 50% discount not working for those who were eligible for the Madden NFL 23 Franchise make-good. Once we have more news to share we'll follow up here.

  • My Xbox shows 50% off in game but when I hit view, I only get the 10% off from my Ea access? Any one else have this issue.

    No we are talking about the 50% off madden 24 for those affected by the madden 23 franchise glitch.  The post you referenced has nothing to do with that.

      It does actually because we got screwed with EA’s new policy of stacking discounts. If you have EA Play you will not see the 50% off because of the EA Plays 10% discount. The EA Play discount which is given first which is overriding the loyalty discount of 50% and because we can’t pick and choose that’s what we will get until EA fixes this. If you can cancel EA Play, I would do that then try to get the 50% off in the Madden 23 Home Screen. I have Gamepass so unfortunately I’m screwed because EA Play is automatically given and can’t be cancelled.

        Hopefully it’s something they will fix. Just because we have gamepass shouldn’t mean we don’t receive the 50% off we was promised. I have gamepass until 2025 so no way for me to cancel ea play just to receive the discount. Cmon EA do better

        I was a part of an affected franchise mode on madden 23. I see the offer for 50% off Madden 24 inside of Madden 23, however when I click it it takes me to the $99.99 version of the game. The only other option is the 10% off loyalty version. Someone please help as I am trying to pre-order before the deadline to get the extra rewards.

      @iambrooksgreene I swear its like EA doesnt even care! Going to lose a bunch if customers this way if you can’t properly address them!

    So, how would I get the loyalty discount? I don't want to stack both, I knew that wasn't going to happen, but I would like the option. The save file issue just struck me again in the last 24 hours too. Only thing I can think of is cancel my ea subscription and just wait.

        I received an email that I was given a 50% discount on madden 24 pre order and when I open madden 23 home page I see that I can view it. The problem is that when it takes me to the store the discount is not applied. I only see a 10% off version. I think the problem is with the stacking mechanic because I have the game pass so I’m getting a 10% discount from that but I think this is overriding my 50% discount. Anyone else have this problem, and if you did how do you fix it.

    @EA_Illium This is regarding the 50% madden 24 for the madden 23 franchise glitch. Many of us got the email saying we qualified for the discount, but when we click on the icon on the madden homescreen the microsoft store has the game at $99.99 instead of $49.99. How do we get the discount?

    So, does this mean the people that were promised 50% off for Madden 24 will not get it because of the EA Play 10% discount overriding the option? Discounts can’t be stacked so does EA realize this is causing a problem for the players that were promised 50% off for Madden 24?

      My issue is it's only showing me 10% off but I don't have ea play and should qualify for the discount lost mytiple online franchises. This stuff is just a mess.

    He's not trying to stack the discounts he only wants the 50% off and your customer service is appaling

    If EA can’t keep their promise to fix the problem that they created, then I’m just gonna skip Madden this year. It’s not worth all this aggravation.

      Same * as me I check my homescreen everyday and the 50% off is still there but it takes me to the store and wants full price of 99.99.

      Joke honestly.

      If I don't have it before July 22nd.

      I'm done with Ea forever.

    These are not the discount we are asking for. It's the 50% franchise glich discount for Madden 24 promised by EA and nobidy seems to care about it at EA and there are no Updates, explanations or any comments from EA. That's annoying

    @EA_Illium would you or someone at EA be able to provide an update to the 50% off issue. I've received multiple emails from EA confirming that I would receive 50% off Madden 24. I also received beta access. However, when I log in to Madden 23, click X on the 50% offer, it will open in the Microsoft store at full price.

    Very simple:
    Can you please provide an update on how to get the 50% off as advertised for those that were impacted? If there is yet another bug then please let us know there is a bug. X date is being targeted or some form of simple communication.

    Madden 23 was forked up so bad, our make good for 24 is forked up so far, and now no one from EA is providing anyone with help or news on why it's broken.

    We are not trying to stack discounts we just want the 50% off that was promised to us in emails.
