its not just old gen. current gen has that problem as well. i still can't even open the companion app without it auto crashing when starting on android and im a PS5 user.
I cant even get into the app. It just instantly crashes before loading. I've tried reinstalling, clearing the files manually and restarting my phone with no luck. Never had a problem with last year's app on android. I was using last years app with madden 23 on series x, but I dont even get to a login prompt with 24.
it does the same thing for me too. i havent been able to open it since they have released it.
It let's me log in but nothing after that just an error message oops something went wrong ...
I I've reinstalled it and uninstall it and uninstall it and every time I sign in it says PS5 or PC and I have PS4 for a little longer they need to make a stop using thorrible one on the game
Give it some time they will eventaully fix it for all of us suffering.
