Face of franchise bug, position changed and skills gone

Face of franchise bug, yesterday I played 10 games as CB with upgraded skills and perks. Today when I connect, Im now a QB and obviously all my skills and perks are gone and back as overall 73.... an...

Any change on this? I also feel foolish because this exact same thing happened in 23. If they don't fix this, it will be the last madden I ever buy...
