problem with trial error still exists over 2 days now
Please fix this promptly as we pay for this game as part of the subscription.
"EA PLAY TRIAL
This trial can only be played on the account that downloaded it. Please sign back into that account and restart the game to continue your progress."
I have:
-Logged out and back in repeatedly.
-Uninstalled and reinstalled Xbox cloud gaming beta.
-Unlinked and relinked ea account to Xbox.
I play on an LCD steam deck via Xbox cloud gaming (beta). Madden 24 demo has worked fine for months until the day before yesterday. (Sunday)
I am also extremely disappointed in this issue. We pay for Xbox Ultimate streaming on our TV and should be able to use it.
Did y’all fix it ?
Same question. I thought this issue was only affecting me. Glad to come here and see it is not just me. I was enjoying getting back into Madden but now this has been having this issue for days. Any updates?
This issue is actually a year old, with some work around but not for cloud gamers. It is not surprising to have the issue still present and unresolved now that 25 has been released.

They want you to purchase Madden 25,,and will not fix this issue till enough people do...Typical business practice ........

But then, where is 25 on Xbox game pass?
Not even available to purchase yet.
(I don't have an Xbox. Steam deck. Game pass ultimate via cloud only.)

The workaround mentioned worked for me. Important to make the note that "pressing back a couple of times" does not mean pressing 'back' in your browser. Literally use the 'Back' command for the console, i.e. 'B' for Xbox controller. You'll be greeted with a warning that playing offline will not give you online features, but at least you can play.

Maybe the workaround isn't working because I'm using Xbox game cloud (beta) on my steam deck?
It goes straight from "press any button" to "trial error.. blah blah blah.." (paraphrasing).
I have no trusted devices in my list and have turned on and off and on again "verify".
... Maybe I'm just not supposed to play madden.....
