They noted they are aware of it above at least. But it's still messed up as of today

So are you gonna fix it and make franchise mode playable this year?

Franchise should play like quick play games, they feel totally different right now. Quick play is so much better, but I want to start a franchise already!!!

Is it a fixable issue? Be honest

From a programming point of view is very easy.  They posted this as a complete thing a week ago saying they were looking into it.  I'm not convinced they are doing anything.  This isn't a hard thing to fix.  

@EA_Kent An official EA update on this issue would be greatly appreciated! Like, do we have a timeline yet on when to expect a fix?

Have just stopped playing completely because of this issue. Would like to get back to my franchise at some point.

I checked and it looks fixed after today's update, but I'm still seeing issues with club and swim moves. I can't even produce a club move in franchise and swim moves are acting real suspect. For example I'll do a swim move and it goes the in the opposite direction a lot of times. It just feels way way way different then when the game was first released. I might have to make a video and post it here.
