Same y’all gotta fix this how is the game so unreliable

I'm on PC, playing Superstar only, and the game keeps crashing mid game.  Sometimes I can get a full game in first, but I haven't made it past two full games without it crashing since the last update.  Wasn't doing this before the last update.  I've restarted my PC several times in over the last couple of days, so it seems like something with the last patch. 

I am on X box one Series X and it keeps crashing. It all started since the latest update. EA come on you guys should really be on the ball.

I feel like you aren’t even trying… literally every system is having the same issue. Its not the platform. Its the game. Its been ongoing since the update tuesday, and you guys still seem unaware. Just glancing through here and reddit i know it is happening to everyone who plays superstar. I can see once EA gets our money you have no incentive to make the product playable. Can upu provide an email or a phone number to contact? This chat room crap is getting nowhere.

I’ve tried all those things already. I don’t have an external drive. Should I just uninstall this game. I feel like paying $70 for a game that doesn’t work isn’t worth it 

I literally been getting kicked my superstar career for a whole week now I paid 70$ to be able to play the career mode I’ve done everything Sony told me to do I reset my console multiple times deleted my game multiple times for me to still get CE-108255-1 error like I’m really starting to get frustrated because everytime I start a game I’m getting something went wrong with this game or app this needs to get fixed asap

Thanks for letting us know what you're running into with Madden 25. I wanted to check with this thread who might still be running into crashing when attempting to play Superstar?

If you are still crashing, try the following steps if you have not already. 

Xbox

PlayStation

If this continues let us know the following:

• EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag):
• Which platform are you on?
• Are you getting an error message?
• Does this happen when loading into a specific mode or performing an action in a mode?
• If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
• If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number

Same issue still going on. XBox Series X. Gamertag: Insta Buzz. No codes, game just freezes for 2-4 seconds and then I'm directed to the XBox main menu. Game relaunches from scratch, it completely closes out. 

Tried all of these steps several times. Still crashes… I’ve played the same first quarter against the Eagles at least a hundred times… trying different troubleshooting I research and repeating the steps over and over again… Please fix as soon as possible….

I’m on series X also. This is beyond ridiculous every year I feel like you all are just taking our money!! You fail us year after year. My NCAA dynasty also mysteriously doesn’t work anymore. We are sick of this *

I tried these steps and still did not work… I have reset my entire console, cleared out my networks and reinstalled madden 2 times now to have the same issue. I’ve tried changing everything in settings and nothing works. This all started after 9/3 update, never happened once before… I can’t play the game! This is ridiculous, been going on for 2 weeks now and based on this response board nothing… the community managers are more busy trying to seperate requests then solving these issues.. madden has been put on notice they are offering a game that’s unplayable and completely their fault, no other game I play crashes like this., wasted time… and I can’t get that back.. I have uninstalled the game and won’t install until a clear update for this issue has been released and confirmed to work… won’t be preordering madden/ncaa next year for sure… and anyone who invests in this game in skins or anything is a fool since madden can’t even guarantee it will work… 

There is no error message on the Xbox Series X, the game just freezes for about 1-2 seconds and then immediately crashes to Home Screen. 

There is not enough time to screen shot this issue, but if you check any current streamer channel playing superstar on madden, you will see exactly what we are all complaining about in 15 mins or less.. the game is unplayable across multiple consoles and based on Reddit search we are talking about thousands of players… all since 9/3 update.

The update has a big in it, EA needs to find it and fix it.

the easy fix to this issue, would be to bring back “Quick Resume” in next update, allowing for when your game crashes or your console turns off, you go back to the same point in the game, or at least drive… this would stop majority of complaints until issues is solved, we are just tired of wasting time on this game.

The bug is not a hardware issue. All platforms (Xbox, PS and PC) are experiencing this crash on touchdowns in superstar mode. Quit deflecting. You make us deal with a sub-par product, at least make sure it runs

Having the same issue on my PS5. It's always in the 3rd quarter and it goes right back to dash. Game completely crashes out. So I can't even contuine my career. 

It's not a online issue. As it crashes back to dash. 

It's not a hard drive issue as the game is installed to external hard drive and no other game is crashing. 

Interesting, for me it’s occurring immediately after a touchdown, as soon as the player begins their TD celebration. I’ve never experienced something as insoluble as this in a madden game. Heartbreaking, considering I discovered this bug immediately upon finishing the free trial and purchase.

Is it always the first TD of the game? Or another spot. It's very strange how it happens during a certain time. But that trigger seems to be different for everyone.

Of course it happens tight after the trial. That's a *. They better get this fixed soon. I'm in my 3rd season as a cardinals WR. If I have to start over that will kill any joy I have for the mood. 

UPDATE ON DIAGNOSIS*: appears that the crash occurs when a rookie on your team scores a TD, at least for me. Gonna try some more and see if that’s the specific case.

Mine is random. Scoring a TD is one trigger. I've had the game crash immediately following a sack (im playing as QB). I've had the game crash after throwing an INT. Sometimes in the 1st quarter, sometimes in the 3rd. The only thing I can pinpoint is that it always crashes at the end of a play. Never crashes pre-snap or while im picking a play, and never crashes in the middle of a play. Yesterday I did actually get through 2 games. I closed out all games in my quick start menu, and I never skipped a cut scene. But now I can't get through the next game.

Game crashes when AI generated players make a play that causes a cutscene (TD, sack, INT, first down). In year 1 of Superstar there are no crashes because there are no AI generated players yet. By the time you get to year 3 (2026) and onwards the game crashes all the time because you have had 3 draft classes of AI players that are on the field. The problem lies in players that are added to the game after year 1.
