If you're talking about Showdown, I have narrowed it down to a cross play issue. I play on PC. I play as a RB I am the only one that gets my abilities. I play receiver, I am the only one that don't have my abilities. My brothers play on xbox, They always get their abilities with 3 ppl on xbox. They have noticed when they have a random and he is on playstation, same issue happens, even looking at the opponents, it's the same. They all on 1 console everybody has their abilities, 1 person plays on a different console, it effects the abilities. They need to fix it ASAP
