@ratbastid2 You can practice in Practice Mode...
When you select which style of play to practice, choose NORMAL. Respot the ball where you want it, and simply select a kick/punt play.
@RunTheGauntletJ I won't say I'm a fan of the new kick meter, but I certainly like it better than the previous one. The Multi-Meter kicks feel a lot more like classic Madden titles where there was an input for both accuracy and a power, and the aim is just an arrow near the kicker's feet. The previous meter revealed the likely flight of the ball and made kicking too easy.
That said, I missed about a dozen extra points before I went into practice mode and learned how to use the kick meter better:
Now I line up my kicks and avoid kicking them at full power (causes the shaking). I don't miss nearly as often now.

Hey, thanks for the answer. One more, how the heck do you use it?????? All is see is a meter bouncing back and forth and a feather
- MaddenUniversity1 year agoRising Veteran@ratbastid2 Depends... When I started playing I chose the "Tap & Hold" mechanic over the "Tap and Tap." I was missing virtually everything because I kept forgetting to hold the button OR worse, forgetting to let it go. So I changed it to "Tap & Tap" which lines up with my instincts.
To use your term, aim the feather. "Tap" to start the meter when the bottom arrow is as close to the center as possible, then "Tap" again once the feather reaches the tip of the 2nd to last rung... Once the power creeps into the last rung it will turn red. That's when the wobbling starts...
