Madden 25 wants me to register the game on my computer

I've mostly been playing M26 lately, and it seems like every time I go back to M25, it's not working in a new, weird way. What's happening this time is that when I try to launch it (either through Steam or the EA app), it'll load for a while, and then this thing will pop up, which is kinda weird, since I've already played for dozens of hours on this computer, but if all I had to do was sign in, that would be fine. The problem is, as soon as I click on this thing to sign in, it goes away.

I'm already signed in on the EA App and Origin.com, and I've done the usual stuff like reinstalling and verifying the integrity of the game files. Honestly, if Madden 25 was intentionally designed to stop being functional as soon as the new game released, I don't think my experience of it would be much different than it is now.
