Glitch in Coverage while making adjustments

I play with the Commanders along with Dan Q's defense. I like to run Cover 3 along with adjusting the curl flats to Underneath. While I'm doing this i also like to put my DE on QB spy. When I do this, the corners loses their assignments & literally run to the opposite side of the field. I do not do any coaching adjustments for this to happen. The offense doesn't motion for this to happen either. I've lost a couple of games because of this. Any ideas or tips? If anything, this needs to be fixed. I haven't had this problem with any of the past Madden games. I have a couple of videos of showing what I'm talking about. This has also happened in cover 2 as well
