User Pass Defense Not Working As Intended

Agreed, in franchise I’ve built a 90 OVR defense and I feel like they are oblivious to what their assignment is. I feel like I have to baby the linebackers into not dropping back 10-20 yards to cover underneath. The run defense is the only bright spot so far. I feel my d-line who I’ve built with Crosby, Johnathan Allen, and kayvon thibodeaux cannot shed a block to save their life to get to the qb. Overall the coverage has just been horrendous, for some reason alot of the time my corner who’s in a deep blue coverage will run across the field and man the opposite receiver leaving that deep blue coverage wide open for touchdowns. I’ve had a issue with setting a qb contain at times because when I do the defensive play crisscrosses and leaves coverage openings all over the field causing me to use timeouts and at this point I just pray scramble qbs don’t take off lol. I’m not some great madden player by all means but I feel no matter the coverage I try or blitzes I throw at the offense nothing works positively for me. I like the challenge of being in all madden on franchise and facing adversity but defensively I feel I’m being screwed out of that challenge by numerous oblivious defenders and players not knowing their assignments.
