Coach Abilities in Franchise Mode

The coach abilities almost feel required in order for players to react. I had Patrick Surtain & Christian Gonzalez in a connected franchise with 99 man and zone coverage but they didn’t play well until I upgraded my coaching abilities for man and zone defense. Can we have the option to turn coach abilities off? I like the attempt but CFB coaching abilities make more sense and are less OP.
