Since yesterday afternoon, we have not been able to access our online franchise. We get a message saying that the franchise is temporarily unavailable.
I have not seen any posts from EA regarding this issue? Is there a fix for this?
Joining the conversation, our franchise league of 32 members has also experienced the same fate. Is there a reason, and more importantly, a fix for this?

We were hoping you could help us out with a bit more info so we can pass it along. When you've got the chance, please share as much of the following info as possible:
Are you getting the same error with any other game modes, or is it only Franchise?
Can other players in the same League log in, or does everyone get this same error?
If everyone in the League is getting the same error, can you give us the name of the League?
If you're the only one in the League getting this error, what happens if someone removes you from the League? If you rejoin the same League do you still get this error?
Can you remember what happened in your Franchise before you started getting the error? For example, did it happen after you simmed to a certain year? Did you get disconnected during a game?
Do you currently have an active Xbox Live or PSN+ subscription?
Only in franchise mode we get this error. Everyone in our league is getting the error. The league name is MtnDewMe. It started occurring last Friday randomly. I have a PlayStation+ subscription and I’m the commissioner of the league.EA_Kent
This error is only happening in franchise mode. I have not had issues in other game modes.
All 32 of our league members are unable to get into the league. We were able to on Wednesday after the patch and some users were able to play their games, trades were made, free agents signed, and the league seemed to be functioning as normal, however come Thursday morning, we began receiving the same error message as we did prior to the patch.
The name of the league is MtnDewMe and it is on PS5 console. Our commissioner is toyotarcn88 who also responded to this thread and his PSN is Sicilito if that helps at all.
We are in the early stages of our second season (2026.) The league began getting the error during week 3 of this season. A few brainstorming ideas: There has been a rookie cutscene that has popped up multiple weeks in a row for some users asking them whether they want to “get going early” or “develop over the season.” We also had a game in which 2 users tied. We also had some generated rookies whose names were changed by league members. Also, we advanced to week 4 prior to not being able to access the league again. Not sure if any of these are the culprit for the error, but wanted to provide any possible causes.

This started happening in year 2 after our draft with auto generated rookies. I am a user in the MtnDewMe franchise & I have had a scenario pop up every week so far. We are in week 4 of the regular season. It has to do with my rookie QB and it’s a scenario that pops up with my head coach and rookie QB talking about their plans for him for this season. Maybe this is something that is causing an issue? Can’t pinpoint the issue but again, we had no issues until we drafted.
we just advanced to Year 2 week 5 . I played my week 5 match up at midnight est and everything was fine. First user reported issue trying to get into the league was around 9am est.
we were in 2026, week 8. Some players had played their games, others hadn’t yet. I can’t pinpoint anything notable that happened before this error started popping up on Thursday night, October 9.
yes, we are a crossplay league and we all have PS+ or Xbox Game Pass Standard or higher.
If I think of anything that may stand out as notable, I’ll come back to this thread.
Only is affecting Franchise. Not one person from 32 man league is able to get in. We had some games played on Thursday Oct. 9th late afternoon/early evening. I logged on to set someone on auto around 8:30 pm est and was displayed the error message. I have a Xbox live membership.
