Connectivity Issues

Hi there. I'll try to help troubleshoot your connection issues. What platform are you playing on and is a wired or wireless connection being used? Also, have you tried the connection troubleshooting steps here?

I'm on Xbox Series X and I have wireless internet. And yes, I've done all the troubleshooting steps.

No, switching to a wired isn't a possibility. But it just doesn't make sense because I don't have issues with any other game and it says everything is good on my end.

I get that assumption. It's a really common for someone to think because other games work, the issue is with the game. However, every game is different and so are its requirements for a stable connection.

Is there any way you could move close enough to the router to use a wire temporarily to test if that helps or not?

Not really. The router is in the next room like 15-18 steps away from the Xbox.

Unfortunately, without testing this we won't know for sure. Wireless connections are probably the biggest reason for disconnects and lag so chances are good this will continue until you can get wired. You may want to look in to powerline adaptors. Those are good way to get a wired connection when your router is too far for a wire.

Sorry for the late reply, I mean I can maybe see about testing it. I just think it's some bs that you have to have wired internet to play.

Wireless connections are going to work differently for everyone. There are a ton of variables that determine how stable it is. By nature, it's not as stable as using a wire though. There is a huge amount of information on this if you do a general web search. You may find some tips that will help.
