It does not fix it. I have a contact at EA that I have attempted to keep informed as well. There is no known working Nvidia driver that alleviates this issue at all. This is an excellent opportunity for Nvidia and EA to collaborate and implemented needed Nvidia DLSS and Reflex.

Find_the_Door Yeah, we talked about that yesterday. At the moment, unless it changed, the fix was to roll back to the previous drivers and do a repair. Set the settings back to default for Nvidia drivers and repair the game.

It may not fix it for everyone, but it was reported that it was working.

Nvidia has said this affects 5000 series cards specifically. I am in communication with them via email on this and they are working on a fix. DLSS and Reflex should be implemented though on the EA side.

JCoke32 I noticed that Nvidia has had a few updates recently to fix some issues. I will let people know about it. Those get real touchy since they are driver related unless we reinstall older ones and show that it is that specific one. Ive also see reinstalling DirectX in a folder on the desktop fix it but thats also a hit or miss too.

Ive run into this error on Windows 10. I’m running on nVidia 3060 with latest game ready drivers.
It’s a driver crash at kernel level that brings the game down.

  • Lock your FPS to 60 frames per second that's the only work around at the moment

Update the above limits the frequency of the issue but it still occurs. This is on the newest Nvidia driver 580.97 as well as the prior release, there is no workaround within the game settings itself. Please fix it. An RTX 5090 should not be crashing.

  • Fixed by limiting FPS to 120, keeping it full screen, and ensuring Ambient Occlusion isn't higher than medium and is set to screen space. That is what "fixed" it for me but that's really more of workaround. All menu settings should be stable and shouldn't crash.

  • Also getting this issue on my RTX 5090 and 9950x3D build.

I suspect it's due to this being early access and Nvidia not dropping a working driver until the actual release on Aug 14th unfortunately
