Game Crashing After Season 8 Update

What the hell is the problem with EA servers right now? After the season 8 update i can’t even do anything with my lineup, I don’t even have enough time to start a game and if I do I’m worried it wil...

So I downloaded the update, and now I can't even get past the menu. I've had to restart about a dozen times. Sometimes the menu just locks up, sometimes I get a server error message. Right now I'm looking at "my items," except... It's empty.

After the fiascos that were the recent promos, I had been thinking about giving it up. EA made the decision for me, I guess.

I get the 'servers are unable to process your request' error. But I at least, got into MUT. Not that I can do much. S7 worked like a dream for me though. But looks like the bugs have come back with a vengeance in S8.
