When I spoke to customer support, they had no timeline for a fix and even said the investigation was not complete. They told me not to lose hope because a fix would be on the way soon, but based on the forums, EA has let several issues persist for months and does not care as long as the microtransactions work.
It's really disappointing that a large company like EA can not even test their product before shipping updates and clearly have no clue what they are doing, as it has taken two weeks, and they still do not know the issue.
