Stuttering Issue

I too have experienced the stuttering/freezing. To reinforce when it happened I streamed Madden 26 Wednesday, March 25th no problems. Streamed Madden 26 again Tuesday, March 31st and the problems occurred. Would hope to get a fix soon!

Just to point out the the issue have nothing to do with the latest Nvidia drivers 'cause when it began I 've been using an older version, than I obviously update but precisely, that's not the problem...

Reading through the DxDiags you posted, it looks like you're both using NVIDIA video cards. Have you had the chance to install the recent hotfix driver they released? We've seen reports that this driver has helped with stuttering issues in some titles, so I am curious if it might make a difference here. 

You can find more info on how to download the 596.02 hotfix driver from the NVIDIA support website. 

If you have the chance to install the hotfix driver, please let me know if you see any improvement with the stuttering. Thank you!

it was the day of or day before the greg jeennings was released im p sure since i logged in and claimed it but quickly stopped since It was close to impossible. It seems consistent in every game mode whether it be MUT, quickplay, and training camp. I am on stretched resolution of 1920x1440p, but I've switched to normal 1440p and I have been on stretched for months with no issues. Genuinely just logged in one day and had this issue without me changing or doing anything. 

I have the same issue 7900xt with i5 13600K.

Adding my data to this. I’ve had a consistent 120 FPS for weeks, and as of this recent update, the game has become unplayable. Through 3rd party monitoring I see Animation Error spikes exceeding 751ms specifically during pre-snap and defensive sequences.

I have already exhausted the following "fixes" with zero improvement:

Software: Process Lasso (Affinity/Priority), ParkControl (Unparked cores), and clearing Shader Cache.

System/Security: Disabled Control Flow Guard (CFG) in Windows Exploit Protection for Madden26.exe and repaired EA Anti-Cheat.

Settings: Borderless Windowed, capped 120/60 FPS, Ambient Occlusion OFF, and Visual Feedback OFF.

In groups that I am in who are having the same issues, they say disabling Hyper-Threading (HT) in the BIOS as a workaround. While this may work for some, it is unacceptable to require users to hobble their hardware and sacrifice system-wide performance for a single poorly optimized title. This is clearly a thread-scheduling regression within the Frostbite engine's interaction with Intel 13th Gen architecture. We need an actual stability patch, not mangling our BIOS settings. If you need any more data to try and fix I can supply whatever I have! Until then the game is basically unplayable.

1. The issue began after the last update (Steam version here)  released around March 28th or so
2.  It happens in every match (custom, franchise, on line) 

   except in training sessions

   the problem only occurs with this game and only since reported, other games run perfectly, even on "ultra" details, including your Pga Tour 2k25 .
