MUT lineup says it’s at 55 max players when it’s not…

I created a new lineup for a different theme team and when I try to swap/add new players I’m getting a warning that my lineup is currently at the max of 55 players when it’s clearly not. I have 2 gaps. It doesn’t matter what position it is, it will not allow me to add the last 2 players. If I try to leave the lineup screen, I get a warning that I have gaps, but I can’t fill them. I found a supposed work around by creating a new lineup, forcing the system to recount the roster, but that doesn’t work either. I’ve created 3 new lineups for nothing. What can I do to fix it? This is my first year in MUT btw if I’m doing something wrong. TIA…
