Hey there,
On PlayStation 5, CE-108255-1 is Sony's general application crash error. Here are the verified troubleshooting steps to get you back on the field:
- Delete Corrupted Local Files - Go to Settings > Share & Manage Files > Load and Delete Files to delete your custom Profile and Roster data - This clears out corrupted local roster files that trigger crashes when the game attempts to verify your team data online.
- Restore PlayStation Licenses - Go to PS5 Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses and select Restore - This resyncs digital license handshakes that can cause crashes right as matchmaking launches.
- Clear Cache & Rebuild Database - Boot your PS5 in Safe Mode (hold the physical power button for 7 seconds until you hear a second beep) and select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database - This clears out system cache issues and fixes corrupted system files that trip application crashes.
- Toggle HDCP and Graphics Mode - Go to PS5 Settings > Screen and Video, toggle HDCP off/on, and set your graphics mode to Performance - This resolves screen resolution and video handshake conflicts that can cause game-launch crashes.
Give those a shot and let us know if clearing out those files gets you back into matchmaking!
