May I recommend that they take a page from 2K's trade logic? In NBA2K, you can go to the trade screen and select the "find trade" option, then select a player and it will give you a breakdown of the teams and their offer for that player, and vice-versa. You can go into that same screen and select a player that you want, which will either send you to the next screen and tell you what they are looking for (whether it's players, picks or a mix of both) or it'll prompt you with something along the lines of "this team is unwilling to trade away this player," which is good for the young franchise players, that no team, in their right mind would trade away until they see what they have in that player.
I know it may be taboo to speak of 2K on an EA sports page, but I feel like the devs should play some NBA2k and pluck a few ideas from it. Relocation teams, uniform customization, finances, contracts, etc. NBA2K literally has it all and it's getting very close to perfect, while EA Sports is still trying to figure out how to make the computer draft the players they actually need, lol.
Please send this up, so they can really put some thought into these things. That way Madden can actually jump back up to being a top game again.
Thank you.

Appreciate the feedback! It's not taboo to talk about 2K as long as it's in reference to another game feature you like in another game. We are on the Madden NFL 21 forums, so it's best to keep it related to our game but if a point needs to be made we always appreciate comparisons.
The team is serious about making bigger changes to Franchise mode for Madden 21 and 22, trade logic is something they're looking into. They recently made an update to the QBs in the draft, I'm confident they'll get to the immersive experience you're describing. It sounds like you want a more robust trade screen where you get to play around with all the scenarios so other teams get involved. The NHL team added a trade deadline feature to make that moment more special. All sports teams take feedback from what each community enjoys and so far it was well received, hopefully that gives them additional confirmation on top of what they already have planned for future trade improvements.- WrathOfHades855 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Blueberry Exactly. I think it would be a lot of fun, if the AI would also initiate trades throughout the season. Going through franchise can become a bit stagnant, because the human players are the only ones attempting trades, while the AI teams don't ever do anything.
I did see the update, about the QBs. That will definitely make it better, when it comes to draft strategies. I think the AI should also try to do trades, within the draft as well (another thing NBA 2K does). Trade up for their guy, trade down because their guy is projected to be a later prospect, etc.
