Pass defense is also my biggest issue with the game as well. Closing speed for CPU defenders is overpowered. You can throw a pass and your WR would have 3-5 yard cushion and all of a sudden the CPU defender speeds up and swats the ball away. User AI defenders never do this. I'm also willing to argue that even on deep passes thrown by the CPU are rarely defensible. If it's a go route, the CPU will burn your AI defender every time. When a CPU QB scrambles to extend a play and the WR cuts back, your AI defender never can cover that and it ends up being a big completion every time. 50/50 balls are absolutely 90/10 in favor of the CPU. Pass defense is beyond horrible in this game.
I love the idea of the field editor and the different scoreboard presentations for AFC/NFC/Primetime/Super Bowl games. Not sure why during all the years when EA owned the ESPN liscense, we never saw an ESPN scoreboard or presentation...??

Updated scoreboards would be a big addition. It would be nice if we got different scoreboards (2 different ones) for Sunday, Sunday Night, Monday Night, and Thursday Night Football, as well as, a special one for the Super Bowl. I can't imagine scoreboards are that difficult to create, so even if they put them in for an update sometime after the release, it would be fantastic.
