I'm not sure what you mean by main menu. I did try it in Madden main menu of franchise. Are you referring to another main menu? Just to be sure, we are discussing Madden 23, correct?
@chess270 yes madden 23. By main menu I mean the menu that up top says home news league options. Press/click the right joystick i have never had an issue with in 22 or 23 for that matter.

When I control all teams, the save option is there.
