Hello,
I am having a similar issue to this on Xbox Series X - only when trying to play MUT Solo Challenges though. I am able to access the auction house and play Online H2H games, etc but I get an error message on Solos and I am unable to play any Solo Challenges at this time. This is unacceptable. Now whenever I try to start a new Solo/Challenge I get an Error message that reads "Error - Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later"(see attached) and it kicks me back to the main menu log in screen. I have tried a signing in/out, hard resetting my console multiple times, tried resetting my Modem multiple times(I have a wired ethernet connection), and finally I just deleted and re-installed the full game but I still get the same error message on Solo Challenges.
***My information is below but this is a huge let down for me after spending about $200 + on the game over this launch weekend only to not be able to grind out any Solos today. Anything you can provide as far as an update/fix asap would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

- Have you tried power cycling your console and local network : Yes, I have tried everything I can think of. I have tried a signing in/out, hard resetting my console multiple times, tried resetting my Modem multiple times(I have a wired ethernet connection), and finally I just deleted and re-installed the full game but I still get the same error message on Solo Challenges.

Thank you for the detailed message and what steps you've already tried.
Last year we've seen this error pop up and the workaround fix was to change your lineup to BEST OVR with the lineup tool when you go to your roster.
Have you tried that?
We are seeing some players experience this same error if they have two personas of the same platform tied to their EA account. If you visit profile.ea.com, do you see two Xbox Gamertags linked to your EA account under connections?
There are risks to unlinking accounts and we have them detailed here. The teams here are currently investigating this.

Thanks for your help @EA_Blueberry ! I do actually have 2 gamer tags linked under my EA Account. I will try the ‘Generate Best Lineup’ for my team and see if that makes a difference.
Is there a way for me to unlink my other Gamertag from my EA account? I don’t want to mess anything up but will to unlink the other gamertag if that will help the issue.

I have been having the same problem on PS5 next gen version. Unfortunately, these solutions did not help. I did have two PlayStation accounts linked to my ea account and now only have 1 linked but I am still having the problem.

There are risks to unlinking accounts and we have them detailed here.
There are steps above on how to do that. If you have any concerns or need someone to walk you through it please contact our Support teams below.
Changing the lineup to BEST OVR usually fixes this error. Some players might need to do that and then also remove the X-Factor/Superstar selections. We've also seen some Team Visuals (Uniforms), Coaches, and Playbooks result in this error too. Removing/swapping those out can help.EA Help on Twitter

Hey thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately none of these fixes worked for me. I still cannot play solo challenges or solo battles.

Thanks for the tips @EA_Blueberry . I tried everything you mentioned, even went back to switch my favorite team under settings to what I originally started my MUT team with but unfortunately I am still unable to play Solos/Challenges on my account. I tried switching everything back to what I had originally prior to this error happening including: power cycling, switching my lineup to BEST OVR, removing the X-Factor/Superstar selections and tried switching all of my Team Visuals (Uniforms), Coaches, and Playbooks back to the original playbooks and uniforms I started my MUT team with. Nothing works still. =(
Very sad to not be able to play anything at the moment except for H2H online. I normally would be fine and happy playing H2H online but I don't think my team is competitive enough hence the reason I really would like to be able to grind out some of these Solos that are time gated and will expire soon.
At this point it feels like I'm being pushed to buy packs to upgrade my team when I am unable to play Solo Challenges. Very unfortunate...I will be requesting a refund if this is not patched asap and am still unable to play Solos by the end of this week.
I do appreciate your help and feedback @EA_Blueberry but this is just not acceptable when EA is patching training and coin loopholes but, doesn't seem to care that a lot of their player base is unable to actually PLAY the game we paid for.- 4 years ago@trouble5hooter I really have to agree. This is beyond disappointing for me and to see them fix other things while I am unable to play the game is disappointing. I do hope they can make this right.
- 4 years ago@EA_Blueberry Problem is now ,(if only 1 x visual,kit n stadium like my team) ,you cannot remove these or change them if no more in item binder.Kits are 7k atm,could spend nearly 20k to fix and not guaranteed to work!

I've tried everything posted by @EA_Blueberry as well. Nothing is working. Most players do not have another visual kit, coach, etc. as you mentioned, because we just started playing the game. EA needs to send out updates on what is being done and stop leaving us in the dark. Then provide some type of compensation for ALL the headaches for not being able to play the game fully.
