@EA_Kent Bringing this back to the front. Not buying your game until you fix this. Again, I posted this concern several weeks prior to launch without reply, tagging @EA_Blueberry. It took you 6 months to fix this last year. You should have plenty of documentation. This is not new. You just launched another “revamped franchise experience” without the ability to save the game.
They never fixed a damn thing!
Yep they didnt fix anything. in 10 tests ive done it will always break around 2027 especially if you add a custom draft class.

Heres a post i made about itNothing was ever fixed. I have not and will not buy this edition of Madden. I’m on PS4 and had this issue since Madden 21. EA doesn’t seem to care to correct this issue, but they’re happy to steal their customers money. I would imagine this will carry into the NCAA game. I don’t play the other sports games. Does the offline franchise have issues on the NHL, NBA and FIFA games? It looks like MLB is the only league who has the sense to use another company to make their games.

- I’m on Madden 21 on PS4 and just had this issue. From system storage I deleted two files named something like “SAVED-DATA” and “SUSPEND-RESUME.” My corrupted files loaded after that.
FIFA has a great franchise that I’ve never had any problems with besides jus not really understanding soccer I play football and love football so I’m sick they can’t fix this uncommon madden issue NHL has a pretty good one too

Hey everyone. This is my first time on the forum so i thought I'd add my two cents. Like all of you, I've experienced this bug the last couple years, but i feel like this is the worst it's been. I think previously it was an occasional inconvenience but now it flat out breaks the mode consistently.
I've read that for others that it's usually triggered by finishing a game and exiting around week 17 but the crash usually happens for me around midseason when i exit out of a game i just played. I haven't played in about 2 weeks because I'm hoping they can somehow fix it with the update, but I'm not holding my breath. It's a shame because i actually felt like the gameplay was solid this year, although this is my first nextgen Madden so that might skew my point of view. Really hoping they can fix this though because the only mode i have played for decades is Franchise. If it can't be fixed then i want a refund.
Just wanted to bump this thread with the recent update and confirm that the bug is still prevalent. I simmed to late in the season of my franchise and played a game with short quarters and it crashed and corrupted the save as usual.
All due respect to the continuing "reporting" of the bug or details on how and when it happens, BUT...
EA is already aware of all of this. It's been happening with each version for at least three years and they JUST KEEP STEALING FROM US!!!!
I beg everyone to stop being nice. Stop answering their "give us the details of your issue" BS responses and ACT!!
Three simple ways to do this:
1) Dispute the charge with your credit card company. "Services not rendered", "defective product", or "damaged product" are the categories to choose. Hit them (and all their resellers) in the wallet now.
2) Email their CEO Andrew Wilson ([edit: email address removed]) multiple times daily to tell him what a thieving company he runs. Again, THEY ARE STEALING FROM YOU!!!
3) Pound social media with complaints about this broken product and how EA SPORTS HAS STOLEN YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!!!!!

I made this account to post this bc I had the same problem you all did. This game it is impossible to get many interceptions in sim but after bringing him to the Falcons I was able to get 62 for Treyvon Diggs by his 31st birthday. Sadly, I’ll never know how many more he would’ve gotten because the franchise corrupted.
You can’t play online because it de syncs and puts you back at the draft. Can’t play offline because of corruption glitch that has been ongoing for years. Franchise mode is simply unplayable.
We all know the story with EA and how they do not care. Once there is a reliable competitor, we will all leave. I made this comment for the daily bump and to suggest that you all leave a 0 star rating on google, Amazon, PlayStation store and anywhere else you can find for this game. It will be your act of kindness from preventing this from happening to a stranger and their current 4+ rating is very inflated.
The other alternative is, with EA being a publically traded company they are held to certain standards about what they say. I think a reasonable person would say that the statements EA has made about franchise mode were misrepresented at best, materially false at worst. There is probably a decent legal case to be made for misleading the shareholders, or “securities fraud.” Maybe someone will start a class action lawsuit.
Last year I switched to ESPN 2K5 because of this glitch, if you can get past the graphics it’s a better game.
It would be nice if they ran a similar piece on this offline bug.
