Re: Madden 22 Monster Morph Strategy Item - Can't play online game - Says to remove

Hey, all.

I know most of you are aware you are not able to use the Monster Morphs in online modes. That is stated in the promo description here. Why? The Community Manager mentioned over the stream it was primarily due to community feedback in terms of fairness in competitive modes. 

Have you all tried creating a new lineup from scratch? Errors can occur sometimes with item data getting corrupted in a lineup. If you visit your roster, go to the lineup tool on the right side and sort by BEST TEAM OVR. Make sure you remove the item out from your lineup before you save it. 

If it's still not working, try deleting the saved lineup you had with it. 

@EA_BlueberryAlready tried all of that. If you remove it from lineup it still shows red letters saying “required” if you click the slot & back out how ever. It reverts to a white font saying not required. If you hit LB back to specialist from strategy, than back to strategy. It pops right back up. If you remove & create new line up it reverts right back every time. Sometimes it re adds the strategy cards back on its own. Sometimes it doesnt. But end result is the same. We all understand it can’t be used online. But yet every one else is getting too use it outside of solos. & got free Microsoft points. While we’re missing out on the thanksgiving ladder.

Is there a fix yet? I talked with support and they said they didn’t know what to do to fix it

I’ve been having the issue for days as well I tried making a new lineup too I don’t even own one promotion strategy card so i do not get how it’s stopping me from playing I’m gonna send pictures of my lineup as u asked from others 

i just spend 300 on a series s and I can’t even play because of this kinda disappointing I spend way over 500 on the game buying packs since it released I made a new lineup even ended the season on my current gen console to see if that was my issue and it wasn’t 

Still dosent work made new lineup from scratch

Do you have any duplicated players in your Special Teams tab?

Also, can you try removing all of your strategy items and then try again?

We've also seen X-Factor/Superstar selections cause matchmaking issues too. Try deselecting all of them from a newly generated lineup.

I have no monster morph strategy items yet I still can't play h2h regular season.I don't have strategy items for some and it says required but I can play the event.

Strategy 

create new line up. 
no h2h access. 

Please EA note. That if I do equip the morph card. I can’t even access house rules.

If I take off morph card. Even if it pretends it’s required I can’t play h2h but can play house rules… but can’t if it is really applied to my line up. 

also note, that if I play house rules with out the card equipped. Once inside I can adjust lineup & add card. My guys get +10 height & it lets me play. But soon as the game is finished house rules is locked up saying morph equipped
