Re: Why is my Madden account banned?

Pretty much , ea supports and is partnered with these YouTubers who use and promote the sites and will pick and choose who to turn a blind eye to, I just wrote a complaint with the better business bureau and suggest everyone else do the same. My account was banned from the auction block meanwhile I’ve spent roughly 1500-2000 just on this madden alone and was banned on the Vick release weekend. I’ve tried to appeal and they treated me like a pos. They don’t care how much you spend on their horribly balanced packs with horrible odds yet push the 100$ packs as the best value and give you nothing in return, so when you’ve spent your hard earned money on their gambling mode I mean ultimate team and then use a third party site that feels trustworthy because their partnered content creators advertise it with no warning of a ban along with their own discount codes just to supplement and help give you the extra coins needed since you’re basically just wasting money on their packs they ban you !

same thing happened to me I just got banned yesterday at night. The reason ? No clue! I’m mad about it because there’s people out there doing a “pack strike” and I think I was the only one who was purchasing points to buy MORE packs, to actually support the game! Through the time I made about 4 million by posting to the auction house. I bought Lamar Jackson LTD yesterday through the companion app for 2million because I thought he was gonna be super rare since no one was buying packs. When I arrived home I bough the 8500 bundle for TOTW hopping I could pull Justin tucker from it and that didn’t happen. Later at night I received a message from EA saying that all my coins where confiscated because of “coin distribution”??? Like what? I really don’t understand! I never used a third party page to buy coins! All I did was keeping buying EA points, get the players from packs ( good ones or bad ones) and sell them, specially since everyone is doing the “packstrike” I was able to sell my pulled players from the packs at a high price and I was saving 2 million for Team Diamonds.. but now I’ve been banned from the auction house and I don’t know what to do.

Same thing with me… my son had some playstation gift cards and he wanted packs.. so we bought a few bundles (i personally dont care about pack strike) and now we keep getting error message unable to connect to online features… wven though we still have access to store and auctiin house… wtf

Here’s the * kicker .. you risk getting banned by using THEIR companion app because they’re so lazy and so bad to put out good games or working apps the risk you take with the companion app is that if you use it sometimes it pops up as a bot on their end and you’re then seen as a someone using a bot to buy and sell cards aka coin distribution so if you really haven’t used any third party sites you’re still wrong for using THEIR app !! Ea is a bunch of crooks and robbers , I did use a third party site only cause I’ve spent tonnssss of money I. The game and I’m rewarded with garbage because every year they lower the odds of good cards in the packs so I had to use a third party site to help get some coins to buy Vick even though the site is promoted by their partnered YouTubers they don’t care. Ea is disgusting and we need a new developer. But yeah long rant short you got * for using their app 

Agreed! YouTubers promote the sites and still nothing happens to them. I got banned a couple weeks ago for the using a third party because the packs odds are horrible I spend nearly 150-200 a week trying to pull good cards and never pull anything that’s unfair to the whole community 

I'll join the club of the banned. I bought and sold numerous player with the app last night. Had to complete sets etc.... Maybe the app triggered it.

I sold some players at high prices, value is in the eye of the buyer. Hey of someone is willing to pay an inflated price for a junk car, that's on them.

Right now I sit with a trade ban, but I could still purchase packs with money, I've dumped almost 2 grand into a broken game. Still missing rewards and XP. Oh and that great bug at halftime where in stuck at the abilities screen, cost me a minute of play in h2h.

Are you still banned? I just got banned yesterday but it seems like you can’t get your account unbanned. It seems like their not sympathetic at all 

Literally there’s such a clear bias

I was also banned for no reason other than playing allot of H2H games in a day (over 100). I finally started having good games, won 7 in a row, and after the 7th win, I was banned. It's been over 20 days and haven't received ANY feedback about my case. Now I won't be able to get the field pass Tight End Casper that fit onto my Raiders theme team perfectly. I spent hours and hours building my team grinding the game only to get banned for playing the game too much? I've called their support line several times and still no updates on the reason I was banned (only received an email saying I was cheating, when I know for a FACT I was not. I ran goal line offense and one of my opponents and he called me a cheater cause he couldn't stop my running plays.) Franchise mode is all I can play now and it doesn't even save progress! This games code is UNPLAYABLY broken and you MUST call Sony and file complaints and demand refunds. Save time and call Sony cause EA Sport tells you to call Sony for the refund.

Did you ever get a response from EA about this? The same ban just happened to me on my one and only account that I have. I have been trying to get in touch with someone at EA that will actually listen to me but I get in touch with anyone

This the same thing that happened to me. I no idea why I am banned but they keep sending me emails saying they made the correct decision. Did you ever get this resolved?

@shepardbreed did you ever get this resolved?? My account was recently banned as well and everytime I put a case in they say that they made the correct decision.

@shepardbreed have you tried calling them? I've called the past 2 days and I honestly feel like they have my number blocked because I call now it tells me that they don't have representatives available. EA is a jock, I literally wouldn't be mad if I actually did something to exploit the game, but I literally don't do anything but play the game.

@socomkid24 did you ever get this resolved??? I have recently been banned the same way and can't get a response from anyone

@Anonymous they banned you because its technically called "coin distribution" if your friend sends your coins in anyway in this game. I even got banned for it 3 days ago and I've literally never helped a friend out or sent coins to anyone

This is exactly what just happened to me and what happened on Madden 22 four times. Three times they overturned it after appealing but not the final time. 

I just had $2,000,000+ disappear and my auction house is locked along with the banned email I just received. 

“coin distribution” is something I don’t even know know to do or what it is 

someone said it’s bots / AI that thinks we cheat when we buy low and sell high. 

my actual problem is this - almost everytime we appeal and they respond, it’s an auto response of “we

investigsted and we will mot be removing the ban. We were right to bam you for breaking the rules. 

how do we get ahold of an actual person that will listen and calmly research to determine we didn’t do it? There has to be enough strings of code to investigate  and prove we didn’t do this. 

In your banned account you can download your information, it is the only thing you can actually still do when banned, in there you can see what happened. This is how I found out how people tried to hack my account from tunesia en Turkey. This is apparentely the reason for banning me. Not sure why they coudn't tell me this. When making a ticket, choose hacked and avoid using the words blocked or banned, cause this will trigger an automatic system which will give you an automatic answer.

I succeeded and finally a REAL person is checking my case.
