1. why is pc not getting next gen? it makes no sense to me as EA had a year to “focus on new consoles.”
2. If we are not getting next gen at least at launch, is there even a possibility pc will get it at all this year?
1. PC is not getting next gen this year because EA either doesn't have the work force and EA sports is at the bottom of the list when it comes to how they allocate it, or they see PC as non profitable, which it will be if you put a 10 year old game out on the market which they've been doing since Maddens return on PC.
2. We will not get it half way through the year sad to say because we're past any beta testing phase, which is needed to optimize it for PC. Unless they optimize it in October for a December release, it's not going to happen. They've stone walled any questions or talk of PC even in marketing.
The only reason they made the changes they did this year in terms of gameplay is because games like maximum football are coming out and 2k has a game in the works. This company is terrible even on a large scale. They show minimum work when they have 0 competition and even when they do have competition, shaft a whole community of gamers. Being the most profitable company in gaming you'd think they use some of that money to make a good game.
EDIT: I know I'm some random, but You'll get worked around by EA on this. There's a whole 12 page conversation where not even the community managers are getting answers. This is an EA approved 'solution'.
