    Two possible solutions:

    1.)

    • Right click on the "T:\Documents" folder > Properties > Security
    • Click "Edit" to change the permissions.
    • Select your user name > Check "Allow full control"
    • Click OK and OK again.

    2.)

    • Right click on the "T:\Documents" folder > Properties > Security > Advanced
    • In the "Owner" line > click Change
    • Click Advanced > Find Now > Find your username in the search results > Select it > OK
    • Click OK again.
    • Check the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects box > OK > OK
    • Change permissions for your user account as in step 1 if necessary.

That means you must have moved your user profile documents folder over to T:.

  • Hit Windows key and X.
  • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
  • Then copy and paste the line below into the Terminal window > Hit ENTER:
    reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"
  • Make a screenshot of the Terminal window and post it here please.

    OK, the system recognises the T:\Documents folder as standard user profile Documents folder.

    If you open the "T:\Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME1" folder, can you save a text or word file to that folder by hand?

        Press the Windows key and "X" at the same time > Click on "Command prompt (Administrator)", "PowerShell (Administrator)" or Terminal (Administrator).
        (OS specific differences.)

        • In the CMD, PowerShell or Terminal window, at the prompt type or copy and past:  takeown /f "T:\Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME1" (With the quotes)

        • hit ENTER
          You should get a success message.

        • Restart the PC > Test
