What is even more bull is the super deluxe edition premium packs, that is if it's true for those as well.
I don't mind that Premium Packs still only have "a chance" of an ultra-rare. However, throwing a bunch of ultra-rare boosters into the mix just to dilute the pool is bullsh*t.
@Tuinbonen, it is true for Super Deluxe Reward Packs. My last was all boosters, an RPG, and a revive pack.

@angrybunnie Wow, that is seriously bull. Don't you think that's false advertising? I posted in another topic about the super deluxe being a waste of money. In a table it said you can get weapons AND equipment and right next to it said "20 weekly packs".
Edit: Finally can post images, here it is.

@Tuinbonen, yeah, I do not feel it was worth the $30 premium. I will not fall for it again. Then again, in retrospect, I should have not ordered in advance. I should have waited a month AFTER the release before considering buying. I pre-ordered based on BioWare and the Mass Effect franchise's great reputation. A reputation they have seriously sullied with this very premature and buggy release.

Fact is, it still is confusing on how they advertised the super deluxe edition. Now we get premium packs that don't even contain weapons or characters. Not sure about the US or Canada, but this is misleading advertisement in EU.

@Tuinbonen, Go get 'em! Have your solicitor call on them. đ

@angrybunnie Nah, totally not worth my time. But at least I know for next time not to pre-order ME anymore, BW has lost its touch.

If anyone has more self control than I do, it makes sense to save up the pre-order super deluxe boxes until you've already maxed your uncommons and rares with the 5K/20K packs.

At this point I'd just save them until more patches come out with more items, and maybe better drop rates.

@QJunky. does not matter. I have all the lower stuff maxed and I still get all boosters, mostly. I think saving them and credits for the patch makes sense -- on the chance that they'll improve drop rates, or take ultra-rare boosters out of the mix.

Tried my luck 3 times and it's 3 times the disaster *tears*

Not cool Bioware, not cool

@Tuinbonen, I spent a million credits and bought 20 Expert Packs after a friend said he was getting reasonable drops. Most were "supply packs." Overall, I got an upgrade to my Dhan shotgun and a Krogan Gladiator class upgrade. That is a drop rate of about 1 in 10 for an ultra-rare weapon or character in this very limited trial. I did get a few ultra-rare boosters, but I did not track that drop rate.

Yeah I am hoping they come out with expansion or at least multiplayer patches to help drop rates, difficulties(though this is mostly due to drop rates of weapons), and general stability issues. I know this game is still very very young yet and I guess they are going to wait to see what they can fix without breaking more things in the process. Im a bit envious of the drop luck some people are having but at the same time I guess its not very favorable right now to rush thru upgrades since consumable boosters count as your rare and ultra rare.

Yay, another free premium pack has released today, Let's ope - NO! Must resist.đŦ

If I were you guys I would start holding onto the preorder packs (they don't disappear, you can leave them unclaimed) and stocking your credits instead. Your progression will halt for a will, and the game will turn to grind - but I think the best course of action at that stage would be to stock up and wait for the first MP DLC to come out and introduce a wack of new stuff. That way when the DLC drops, you'll be ready, and you'll get more out of your previous work, retroactively.

Of course, when the patches and DLCs come out, they will include new weapons and new characters to further dilute your chances.

yea, saving up is stupid. 50k packs are where its at, whatever additional chances the 100k ones give are definitely NOT 2x the chance like 50k ones are. almost everything i have is at 5+, the only thing im missing entirely is the inferno which i could honestly care less about (probably some b/s glitch) and i gave up on the 100k packs week 1. by the time new stuff is added (probably more AWFUL guns...) youll just be kicking yourself for not working on it sooner. have fun getting that ushoir 2 while im cracking open the new gear.
