They need to just get rid of the execution. I'm fine with him having a sync kill just don't have them execute me when I am fighting against teleporting fiends, and I mean literally. Teleporting. Fiends.
I'm not one to complain about MP but wiping three times last night on wave 6 of the Gold Apex mission changes my policy. I jinxed the last run by saying I had wiped twice before on wave 6 so we needed to come through this time. I dropped first to the Fiend. I pumped two Cobras into him, leaving a sliver of health and he lunges through the door and gets me. Not across the map, but he wasn't in melee range and there was no wind up. Just dead.

I don't mind the ascendant as they make a sound and there is a visible area that you need to escape from.
But the fiend as you mentioned is broken I just avoid them until the end and wait until someone else is kiting them so I can shoot them in the back (the red muscle vent thing on their back)
The teleporting is a huge issue right now, and the shadow grab.
The WORST is when there is one that sneaks up behind you and it either grabs you or hits you (if it hits you then you lucked out)
Maybe add a sound when it is about to grab you (It makes a grunting sound when it charges, but no sound when it is about to grab you)

Good luck and don't die... but make sure your Ryder's wearing clean underwear just in case.
But I am waiting until some of the issues are fixed before I give MP a go. Not that I'm a big MP enthusiast but I am looking to give it a spin this go around.
Well, well, well, I just found out something new for myself. I thought the fiend was the only thing that could teleport, but it apparently can teleport me as well. I was just detonating stuff a few floors below the fiend and I didn't even see him on the roof, but he grabbed and ate me on the roof out of nowhere. Do they even test this game? *sniff*

LOL! I was just coming here to post about like the exact same thing. Why is 6th round always targets and all the targets ascendants? Anyway, I just had a fiend attempt to punch or grab, I don't know which, through the roof. Naturally I dashed out of there as soon as I saw his giant arm! 😮 His whole body was clipping halfway through the roof too or platform whatever. In this same match (just failed because half the team died before all the ascendant targets were killed - I wasted multiple cobras trying to salvage it) I got pulled IN STEALTH a full probably 10-15 feet away I watched his whole body teleport to get into the grab and execute animation.

JUST failed a mission where a fiend grabbed THE ENTIRE TEAM. I got grabbed from 20 feet away while dashing first. I watched in horror on spectator mode as this same fiend proceeded to grab one guy from another 20 or so feet away BEHIND cover, grab another one, then teleport onto the last guy and grab him. WIPING EVERYONE. My reaction is and was the same as the gif I used above. I wish I had been recording it was completely idiocy.
Here we go... This is not my video but this is an example of what happens for anyone who doesn't know.
I wish I had teammates that could use their cobra rpg to stagger the fiend or ascendant whenever one grabbed me and not just waste it carelessly ☹️
I've actually been saved a bunch of times by people doing that!
Pretty much the only way to make sure your safe is to keep a distance of at least 50 feet or so away, at all times. So you have a chance to get away if he decides to teleport.
