[BUG] May 17 Update limits resolution options and switches monitor listing

I updated this morning to the latest patch fix, and am noticing two graphics settings related bugs.

I'm running a Samsung G9 as my primary ⚽ monitor and an LG 27" as my #2. All drivers are up to date, and Windows is fully patched as well.

First, in the "Monitor Selection" section, the 1 monitor is labeled as "LG HDR 4k", but if I select that, it displays on my G9. If I select option 2, listed as the "G95T_" option (which is the correct label for the G9, but not the right monitor slot), then it pushes the game over to the 27" LG screen. It's totally backwards.

Secondly, along with this mixup, when I select screen 1 (which is ACTUALLY the G9, despite the messed up label), I now only get resolution options up to 1920x1440, where it used to be 5120x1440. All of the driver and windows settings have that screen set to 5120x1440, but now ME1 will not recognize those resolutions.

I'm also getting a TON of stuttering when on planet surfaces. Am running a Nvidia 3090, and even with anti-aliasing off (since I was having the left side ghosting problem originally, too), it's still very choppy and stutters a lot as I run around. Something's definitely gone wrong here, and I don't have any options or settings to adjust to try and fix it. So, am posting this as a possible bug with the latest update and hoping it gets to the right eyeballs to incorporate into another patch.

  • Confirming this same problem is happening in ME2, AND because of the terrible resolution problem, subtitles are in the middle of the screen, are in a huge font, and get cut off on the sides of the screen. REALLY bad setup, and nearly unwatchable for the cutscenes. Need some adjustment here because of this last patch, please!!
