Can't launch ME1 but ME2 and ME3 work just fine
The launcher starts just fine, but when I try to launch ME1 it is just stuck on the splash screen while the music plays. The process is listed as Not Responding. This issue has persisted through a full reinstall of Windows and reinstall of of the game. I've cleared Origin cache and enabled beta unicode support as suggested in some other threads. In the past this game did run just fine, not sure what changed (nothing about my PC changed).
@CantinaClarinet Just to clarify, when you reinstalled Windows, did you wipe and reinstall or just run a repair install, and did you retain or transfer over any user data? If you do have any user data from beforehand, please remove your ME1 saves, which you can find here:
Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME1
Move the entire ME1 folder to the desktop and test. If you still can't open ME1, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
