Game won't start when I press play

Question

Hey all. &nbsp;I've recently ran into this issue where my ME 2 and 3 will not start when I hit play on them, through origin or otherwise. &nbsp;I took a few month break from playing and when I went to play today it said that my game might be unstable. &nbsp;I didn't change anything except for those mandatory updates from windows. &nbsp;I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and aside from eating up 2 hours of my time nothing has worked. &nbsp;I can see the game trying to start but in the end nothing comes up. &nbsp;I'm assuming that it starts but then forces itself off and ends the task.Please help, I don't know what else to do and anything I find online is dated almost 3 years ago.

I have temporarily fixed the problem by deleting the config file in the Bioware documents folder. When I get the popup that the game might be unstable I wait about a minute then press "ok" which seems to force Mass Effect 3 to start.

I've had the same issue.&nbsp; It claims to be Syncing with the cloud, and that's as far as it gets.&nbsp; Which is odd considering I've got hours of gameplay already on this computer.&nbsp; Oh, and if someone even hints that this laptop isn't enough system, I will laugh.&nbsp; Toshiba Qosmio.&nbsp; I have plenty of system.
